Connect to Bybit

How to connect Gainium to Bybit#

1. Log in to Bybit and go to the API Keys Page 

Once you have logged into your Bybit account, hover on “My Account” on the top right and select the account you want to use to create API keys (Bybit allows the creation of subaccounts). 

Then click on API. Login

2. Click on the “Create New Api” orange button  Click New Key

3. Select the first option: System-generated API Keys  System-generated API Keys

4. Select “Connect to Third-Party Applications” and select “Gainium” from the application name dropdown.

APIs created this way already contain IP whitelisting, so you don't have to worry about manually whitelisting our server IPs.

API KEY PERMISSIONS

• Select “Read-Write”- Select “Unified Trading”- Then click “Submit”.

5. Enter the codes for Security Verification  Security Verification

6. Copy the Key and Secret Key

Once you have passed security verification, you will receive your keys. 

Store the API secret safely, as you will only see them on the screen once at this stage.  API KEYS

7. Paste the keys in Gainium

• Open the Exchanges page in Gainium and click on the “Add New” orange tab at the top of the page.-  Fill in the information in the Add New Exchange popup.- Click on the “Add Exchange” orange tab Add New Exchange

You are all set! The newly added exchange will now show up.
